Dunellen, NJ Knights Of Columbus Hall
December 15, 2012
Pro Wrestling Superstars concluded its final weekend of 2012 on Friday
night December 15th, as they brough their annual "Jingle Brawl" to
Dunellen, NJ's Knights Of Columbus Hall. And the fans brought a packed
house to Dunellen, so much so that extra chairs had to be squeezed into
tha already-packed hall, and there were still many standing-room-only
fans, all enjoying NPWS' final show of the year.
show opened with the Dunellen fans also observing a moment of silence
for the victims of the Newtown, CT tragedy, as NPWS Commissioner Al
LiCata recited another glowing tribute and prayer.
- Before the opening contest could be introduced, NPWS
Hardcore Champion "The Cold-Hearted Playa" Danny Demanto and TNA/Impact
knockout Madison Rayne came out and insulted the audience and their
opponents from last night, "Jersey
Jock" Chris D'Andrea & TNA/Impact knockout Rosita, whom they
promised revenge after losing to them last night. This brought out
D'Andrea and Rosita in person. The two teams exchanged more insults and
promises of victory later on before D'Andrea and Rosita chased Demanto
and Madison back to the locker room.
- In the opening contest, a tag-team match, the duo known
as Tough Love
("Corrupted" Corey Havoc & "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans)
defeated the duo of Tony "Smokehouse" Garrick & Eddie "Spaghetti"
Franken. After a back and forth battle, Havoc threw Garrick out of the
ring and clocked Franken with his megaphone, knocking him out for the
- In the second match, Ryan Angus defeated "The White Urkel"
B. Fehrm. After a furious battle, Fehrm was poised at the top rope, but
Angus pushed the referee into the ropes, causing Fehrm to lose his
balance and "spike" himself, then RKO'd him into the mat and pinned him.
a tag-team showdown, former ECW hardcore icon Balls Mahoney & "The
Warrior" Jack Spade defeated The Atomic Dog & Jeff "Cannonball"
Guerrero. Before the match, Balls again insisted that *he* was the top
night and insisted that the match be an ECW-style no-disqualification
Dunellen Street Fight, or he would leave. Atomic Dog initially ignored
him, and invited kids to dance with him in the ring. As the kids left
the ring, Atomic Dog agreed to the Street Fight, and the match was on.
After much carnage inside and outside the ring, Atomic Dog pummeled
Spade outside the ring, but Balls was able to clock Cannonball with a
trash can inside the ring and pin him.
next bout was a special ladies attraction, as Nikki "The Wrath"
Richardson won an upset victory over 2012 King & Queen Of The Ring
co-champion Jennifer Cruz. Cruz was accompanied by Danny Demanto and
Madison Rayne, who hurled insults at Nikki until Commissioner Al LiCata
send them both back to the locker room. The more experienced Cruz
dominated the match but could not put Nikki away. After Nikki reversed
a Samoan Drop attempt by Cruz and got a near pinfall, a frustrated Cruz
shoved referee S.P. Anderson in anger, who shoved Cruz back,
right into a schoolgirl rollup by Nikki, and Anderson counted a quick
three-count for Nikki.
furious Cruz attacked Nikki some more, then Danny Demanto and Madison
Rayne came back into the ring, and Demanto picked up Nikki and
delivered a thunderous piledriver to her. Chris D'Andrea and Rosita
came out and chased Demanto and Rayne away.
- After a short
intermission, another tag-team match featuring NPWS Cruiserweight
Champion J.D. Smoothe & The Wrestling Matt versus Brandon Kirk
& Ryan Tweedin (making his NPWS debut). Smoothie had little
for his own tag-team partner, as well as his opponents, and after a
short battle Smoothie threw the referee out of the ring in frustration
and all four men started fighting outside the ring, where Smoothie
pummeled all three other wrestlers as the referee called for the bell
and threw out the match.
- In the main event of the evening, an inter-gender tag-team
rematch from the previous night, NPWS Hardcore Champion "The
Cold Hearted Playa" Danny Demanto & TNA/Impact knockout Madison
Rayne defeated "Jersey
Jock" Chris D'Andrea & TNA/Impact knockout Rosita. After
and Rayne double-teamed D'Andrea for several minutes, Rosita tagged in
and took down Rayne, but Demanto stopped the pin. Rosita escaped a
piledriver attempt by Demanto, and D'Andrea hit a Jackhammer on Demanto
but only got a two count. All four brawled until Rayne hit D'Andrea
with a low blow, and Demanto caught Rosita as she flew off the top rope
and drove her into the mat with a Samoan Drop and got the three-count.
