NPWS/FWF "Funk-A-Mania X: Tenth Anniversary"
Christiana, DE Fire Company Hall
October 14, 2012

NPWS closed out this action-packed weekend Sunday afternoon October 14th with a trip down to Christiana, DE and their Delaware affiliate Funkdafied Wrestling Federation, as FWF celebrated their 10th anniversary with "Funk-A-Mania X", and one of the largest crowds FWF has ever seen packed the Christiana Fire Company Hall.

The show opened with FWF General Manager "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie greeting the fans and thanking them for supporting FWF these ten years.

The opening contest was a battle of big men, as Lumberjack Monroe took on "Mr. Varsity" Jeff Noyze. The two big men pounded on each other from the opening bell, with Noyze supplying most of the offense but could not pin Lumberjack. In the end, Noyze missed a giant elbow drop, and that was enough for Lumberjack to flatten him with a splash and get the 1-2-3.
Winner: Lumberjack Monroe

The second match was a Fatal Four-Way contest for the FWF Cruiserweight Championship, as the champion "Black Atlas" Cocky Johnson took on challengers Eddie "Spaghetti" Franken & "Too Hot" Steve Scott & "The White Urkel" B. Fehrm. At first, former tag-team partners Johnson and Fehrm worked together to ward off the challenge of Eddie and Steve, but when one went for the pin, the other stopped him, and the partnership broke down quickly into a final fight. Fehrm took down Johnson with a Nerd Cutter, then Steve Scott superkicked Fehrm and took him down with a back suplex, but Eddie broke up the pin. Eddie hit a Spaghetti Neckbreaker on Scott, but Johnson broke up the pin and took down both Fehrm and Eddie with a double DDT, then took down all three opponents in succession with RKO's, then covered Scott for the pin.
Winner and still FWF Cruiserweight Champion: "Black Atlas" Cocky Johnson

The third match was a special challenge match as Chris "Boom Boom" Powers took on the new co-holder of the NPWS Tag-Team Titles, "Retro Rocker" Rikki Roxx. The two young stars put on a high-flying and hard-hitting back and forth battle. In the end, Powers blocked a Crisis Kick from Roxx and took him down with a powerbomb, then crushed him into the mat with a flying stomp and got the 1-2-3.
Winner: Chris "Boom Boom" Powers

The fourth match was a Tag-Team Contenders Match as the team of Phat And Funky ("Phat Daddy" Mack Williams & The Funky White Boy) took on the team of Jersey Splash (NPWS Jersey Shore Champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans & Jeff "Cannonball" Guerrero) who were accompanied by their manager "The Alpha Dog" Mike Manning and FWF Tag-Team Champions The 2 Rude Dudes ("Corrupted" Corey Havoc & Rampage Rogers). Phat Daddy and Funky wanted a manager of their own, and they noticed WWE Hall Of Famer The Iron Sheik sitting in the back signing autographs, and asked him if he would be their manager for the night, and he happily accepted and came to ringside. The Dudes were not contracted to be at ringside at all, so referee Ruff Ryder ejected them. Funky and Phat Daddy dominated Oceans early on, but a trip of Phat Daddy from Mike Manning on the outside turned the tide in favor of Oceans and Cannonball. At one point, Oceans slapped a Camel Clutch on Phat Daddy, but an enraged Iron Sheik whacked Oceans in the head with his cane to break that up. Phat Daddy endured more double-teaming from Oceans and Cannonball until he knocked Cannonball down with a dropkick, and tagged in Funky. Funky cleaned house on Oceans and tossed him out of the ring, then hit a flying bulldog on Cannonball and covered him for the 1-2-3.
Winners: Phat And Funky ("Phat Daddy" Mack Williams & The Funky White Boy)

The 2 Rude Dudes returned to the ring and joined Oceans and Cannonball in attacking Phat Daddy and Funky, until former ECW stars Tommy Dreamer and Balls Mahoney ran out from the back and chased the attackers away.

The fifth match was an Over-The-Top-Rope Battle Royal featuring Private Julio Jackson, Jeff "Cannonball" Guerrero, Ole Skool, Mikey D, "Retro Rocker" Rikki Roxx, Eddie "Spaghetti" Franken, Lightnig X, "Phat Daddy" Mack Williams, "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans, and Kanus. After eliminating most of his competition, the seemingly unstoppable Kanus eliminated Mikey D. for the victory.
Winner: Kanus

The sixth match was for the NPWS Heavyweight Title, as champion The Atomic Dog defended the belt against Mikey D. Atomic Dog dominated at the start and took the fight to the outside, where Mikey was able to reverse a whip by Dog into the ringpost and gain the upper hand. But Dog powered back up and regained the upper hand, and after a series of JYD-style headbutts, Dog hit a Thumpin' Powerslam on Mikey and pinned him 1-2-3.
Winner and still FWF Heavyweight Champion: The Atomic Dog

The seventh match was the first of the two main event matches, a special challenge match issued at the last FWF show, as "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie took on TNA/Impact Wrestling star "Jersey Shore" Robbie E. Robbie informed the crowd that even though the Impact Wrestling "Bound For Glory" Pay-Per-View was occurring tonight, he chose to be part of FWF's tenth anniversary, which brought cheers from the crowd. But then Robbie said that when he saw all the "hamsters" in the crowd, and the one standing across from him in the ring, he realized he had made a terrible mistake. This brought loud boo's from the crowd, and Robbie charged at Smoothie. Anxious to defend the honor of his promotion and the fans, Smoothie took the fight to Robbie, and the two battled all the way across the Fire Company Hall, and even outside to the equipment trucks before finally returning to the ring. Robbie dominated most of the offense but was unable to put away the tenacious Smoothie. Then after escaping a sleeper hold, Smoothie went on the offensive and leveled Robbie with a series of kicks and clotheslines. Robbie tried to interrupt the momentum with a trip-up and pin attempt with his feet on the ropes, but referee Ruff Ryder caught him. An enraged Robbie shoved Ryder, who shoved him right back. Robbie lifted Smoothie onto the top turnbuckle and went for a superplex, but Smoothie shoved him off and hit his Leg Drop Across The Delaware on Robbie, and Ryder counted a quick 1-2-3 for Smoothie.
Winner: "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie

Smoothie once again thanked the fans for their support these past ten years.

The final match of the afternoon was the other main event match, a Non-Title Hardcore Tag-Team Grudge Match, as FWF Tag-Team Champions The 2 Rude Dudes ("Corrupted" Corey Havoc & Rampage Rogers), with their manager "The Alpha Dog" Mike Manning and their "personal trainer" Nicky Oceans, took on Team Extreme (former ECW hardcore icons Balls Mahoney & "The Innovator Of Violence" Tommy Dreamer). Balls and Havoc started off with an exchange of wrestling holds which Balls dominated (it should be noted that although Balls' following is mainly for hardcore wrestling, he is a skilled mat technician as well). Balls and Dreamer worked over Rogers, until a missed elbow drop by Dreamer enabled Havoc and Rampage to go on the offensive against Dreamer. Dreamer withstood the assault, and when Rogers went for a huge elbow drop from the top rope, Dreamer rolled out of the way and tagged in Balls who cleaned house on Havoc and Rampage. All four men brawled in the ring, and Mike Manning attempted to jump up on the ring apron and break up the momentum, but Balls knocked him off the apron with a right hand. Dreamer leveled Havoc with a DDT, but Nicky Oceans jumped into the ring and interrupted the count. Oceans seized Dreamer's kendo stick and swung it at Dreamer, but Dreamer kicked Oceans in the gut and retrieved the kendo stick and slugged Oceans and Rogers with it, then he and Balls gave Rogers a double-DDT and pinned him 1-2-3.
Winners: Team Extreme (Balls Mahoney & "The Innovator Of Violence" Tommy Dreamer)
